First Friday kicks off this afternoon in downtown Marietta! There will be games, prizes, and shops will be open late! (Marietta Main Street)
The Joe Burrow Foundation partnered with the OU School of Business recently. The foundation and the school were both named as co-beneficiaries at a networking and fundraising event at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati.
The Joe Burrow Foundation helps to provide resources to underprivileged and underserved individuals. Joe Burrow’s parents attended the event and gave the keynote address. (Ohio)
Southeast Ohio Congressman Bill Johnson was one of the Republicans who sided with Speaker Kevin McCarthy and voted yes on raising the debt ceiling.

Ohio’s right-wing Senator JD Vance is teaming up with Massachusetts's far left-wing Senator Elizabeth Warren on some common sense legislation. The bill this unlikely duo has been working on will aim to take on big bankers. It will financially punish CEOs of failing banks, to dissuade them from making risky bets with people’s money. Alfred Henry Martin the Third is the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Warrant of the Week.
He’s wanted for disrupting public service and domestic violence. Anyone who spots him should call the sheriff’s office. (WCSO)
